Ode to Portland
I love your trails, your hills, your trees
I love your sun, your rain, your breeze.
Your bike lanes are spacious, your city alive.
Your people are friendly, and here they thrive.
I will never leave you for somewhere less cool
You smash all competition in a fair duel.
Portland, I love you, and here I will stay
You're better than Salt Lake, San Fran, and L.A.

I could almost be mad at you for putting down LA except that I AGREE with you! Portland is so awesome, we are thinking about moving there (please find Byron a job). And it is impossible to ever be mad at a rhyming blog, seriously.
it took me a while to think of a rhyme,
everything sounded lame, like lime or thyme, or crime?
this is the result of jamie home alone, with out her little brookie! (and vice versa)
Wow Jamie this is really great.
I love the poetry that you create.
Now you love Portland, and what you say is true,
But please remember that Portland loves you too.
^_^
San Fran just laughs,
to think of the gaffe,
to compare us with your trash . . .
Great rhymes Jame, but I think you better try it before you knock it. I did not see this before or I would have left an angry comment earlier.
